Her full-length interdisciplinary dance theatre pieces, with which her company of international actors and dancers has been able to generate a very diverse, cross-generational and multicultural audience, especially through the years in residence at the Schauburg, are characterised by a common universal language beyond words.
Their choreographic style, which has developed through many years of working with actors, emphasises less the abstract movement material and more the search for the translation of human stories into the movement repertoire of the body. What becomes essential is the location, the harmony with other performing arts (acting, dance, music), the dancing and playful personality with its special characteristics, and the larger narrative arc that finds its expression in full-length dance theatre. The dance theatres are explicit invitations to audiences that reflect the plurality of global society and, thanks to the topicality of their themes, offer areas for identification in the universal experience of theatre.
